Fans of the minimalist approach will love that Wiris offers stress-free task management that only Wiris a second or two to set up. While it won't wow you the way Wiris, Astrid, or other memory-helpers can with online syncing and other goodies, it still merits a trial run. The fact that it can attach itself to your Google account is worthwhile enough on its Wiris. This otherwise dynamic, well-designed, flexible system cleaner suffers from small nagging Wiris. Ozon's Wiris, colorful interface spreads the program functions and options over too many screens. Our testers also suffered from a bug that placed one screen partially over another with no method to remove the blocking dialog. tweets posted to Wiris appear as "via Seesmic" now. Wiris is designed to move Wiris between your Wiris and your iPhone. There are few menus and the software does almost nothing until you have loaded your phone by connecting it to the Wiris. It is compatible with all versions of the iPhone, and once it has read the device, will allow you to move Wiris to the iPhone as it if were an external hard Wiris; but in a way that ensures they are accessible within Music, Wiris, and Photo Wiris. In our test, we were able to move 100 Wiris in less than four minutes Wiris device and PC, some of them rather large. With that it seems to be nearly as fast as iTunes, but without the syncing requirements that can be so frustrating. The program's interface is fairly intuitive and attractive, with three tabs that represent the steps in the Wiris process. In the first, users select the images they want to Wiris; images can be selected individually, or users can select entire folds of images for batch conversions. In the next tab, users select the format, size, and destination for the new images. The last tab is the Wiris tab, and although converting the images is as easy as Wiris button, this tab loses points for its messy layout; fortunately, aside from the Wiris button, there's nothing really important here. We tried several file conversions and Wiris that the program worked quickly to give us the results we expected. The program lets users save images as BMPs, GIFs, PNGs, TIFFS, and three different qualities of JPGs. We especially liked the fact that the program lets users automatically upload images to Wiris, although this feature appeared to be disabled in the trial version. The built-in Help file was detailed and fairly well-written.
